Call for Applications – ERASMUS+ KA171 Mobility
Faculty of Civil Engineering and Building Services, Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași, Romania
The University of Sarajevo announces an open call for applications for ERASMUS+ KA171 mobility at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Building Services, Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași.
Within this call, the following mobilities are available:
- 5 mobilities for academic and administrative staff (teaching or training)
- 2 mobilities for PhD students (duration: 2 months)
Mobility period
Staff (teaching/training): 18–24 May, 2026
PhD students: 2-month stay (period to be agreed with the host institution)
Financial support
Academic/administrative staff:
- 140 EUR per day (including 2 travel days)
- 275 EUR travel costs
PhD students (2 months):
- Total grant: 1,875 EUR (including travel)
Financial support is provided in accordance with ERASMUS+ regulations.
Additional note
In case no PhD students apply, the available funds may, in agreement with the host faculty coordinator, be reallocated to additional teaching/training mobility of staff.
Accommodation
As informed by the host institution, there is a possibility to stay in single or double rooms in the faculty dormitory. It is therefore necessary to indicate in your application whether you would like to stay in the dorm so that the host can make arrangements on time.

Criteria
TEACHING STAFF
- Coordinator or contact person, the first in the selection
- Have experience in any mobility
- New entry to the program
- Teaching experience and/or research competence (for teaching mobility).
- Relevance of expertise to host institution.
- Quality of proposed mobility plan (teaching/training programme).
- Previous international cooperation experience (if relevant).
- Contribution to strengthening institutional cooperation.
- Clear plan for knowledge transfer after mobility.
- Long-term cooperation potential.
Selection Criteria – PhD Students
- Eligibility
Enrolled as a PhD candidate at the home institution.
Research topic compatible with host institution expertise.
Supervisor approval.
Language proficiency.
- Academic Excellence
Academic record (GPA, previous degrees).
Research proposal quality.
Publications, conference participation.
Progress in PhD research.
- Research Relevance & Feasibility
Clear objectives for mobility period.
Methodological soundness.
Feasibility within mobility duration.
Added scientific value of host institution.
- Impact & Sustainability
Contribution to dissertation completion.
Potential joint publications.
Long-term research collaboration.
Capacity building for home institution.
